0. Overview of AudioTool's interface

This figure shows the user-interface of Palette Tool with an opened palette:

Palette Colors show all color entries of current palette. You can click on a color entry to select it.

1. File Menu

1.1 Open Pal: Open a palette from a PAL file.

1.2 Save Pal: Save a palette to a PAL file.

1.3 Import Pal: Import a palette from a BMP file or a PhotoShop Palette File(.ACT) or a 3-Byte Palette.

1.4 Export Pal: Export a palette to a file. So you can edit or use it outside( for example, use a created palette in PhotoShop).

2.1 Palette Page

The Naviator Info shows a color entry's color volum and index when your cursor move on the Palette Colors.

2.1.1 Modify a color entry:
First select the entry you want to modify, then double click on the Selected Item color button.

2.1.2 Fill color entries
First set the first color entry you want to modify to the color you want, then click the Fill Colors button, then click the last color entry you want to modify.

2.1.3 Copy color entries
To copy a color entry from one to the other, select the source one, click the Copy button then click the dest entry.

2.1.4 Exchange color entries
To Exchange 2 color entries, select the first entry, click the Exchg button then click the second entry.

2.1.5 Build a Color Gridient
First set the first and the last color entry you want to gridient to the color you want, select the first entry, then click the Gridient button, then click the last color entry you want to modify.

 

2.2 Alpha Table Page

You can open/save/create alpha blend tables for current palette here.

 

2.3 Light Table Page

You can build light map and save it for MAGIC101 3D raster.

 

2.4 Fog Table Page

You can build fog table for 3D environment here.
